English Translation

We speak English and on request we are experienced to provide English translation.

What is our purpose?

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." (Mark 16, 15-18)

Our task is to bring the Good News of the Gospel into the world. People need to know of our saviour Jesus Christ. Many people, especially in the German speaking region, never heard the truth of the Gospel. We want to start in the City of Leipzig and continue to other places as the whole world needs to be reached with the Gospel. You and all other people need to know that there is an eternal hope for us. We want to experience the signs and miracles God has promised us, so that you can see, that Jesus lives and you need him.

"Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest." (Luke 10,2)

We want to pray for the propagation of the Gospel and share our faith in Jesus Christ with you.

"Jesus saith [...], I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14,6)

We want to live in communion with believers to follow Jesus on the way of the truth. We can encourage each other to grow in faith and reach the eternal life with Jesus Christ.

What are we believing?

We believe in the Bible. We do not use teaching from other books.

The Cross of Golgatha

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15,13) Jesus died on the cross for our transgressions so that we can get eternal life.

The resurrection

"Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen." (Luke 24,1-6)

Love to God and to other people

"And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself." (Lk 10,27)

How do we want to live?

The bible is teaching us: "Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.!" (Mt. 3,2) Our goal is to reach the kingdom of heaven. Again and again it is written: "Ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy." (e.g. Leviticus 11,45). Without Jesus who paid for our sins we are not able to fulfill this.

What are we practizing?

Reading the Bible

We read the Bible together to learn more about our God. We use the Bible as our "road map" or "navigator" for our way through our life.

Baptizm

Jesus teached us: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." (Matthew 28,19). We do not practice baptizm of small children as we practice baptizm on own faith to follow Jesus.

Prayer

We believe in God listen to our prayers. "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." (Matthew 21,22). During our services we pray together and have a time where everybody can pray for himself in silence.

Worship

"Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness." (Psalm 30,4) We want to praise and thank God. In every service we sing worship songs.

Lord's supper

"And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you." (Luke 22, 19-20) Regularly we celebrate the Lord's supper in our church.

Community

Jesus teached us to love our neighbours as ourself. We maintain a good relationship to other people. We do not want to meet for church service only as also we want to meet in daily life. Hospitality is important for us.

Holy Spirit

John the Baptist promised us: "I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost." (Mark 1,8). If you really decide to follow Jesus Christ you will receive this supernatural gift.

Supernatural signs

"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." (Mark 16, 17-18). We are witnesses of having experience in these things. Imagine you have a sickness, pain or a spiritual problem and Jesus can heal it instantly? You are invited to receive prayer by us.

Mission work

Jesus teached us: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations" (Matthew. 28,19). We are not allowed to keep the good news of the Gospel just for us. We take the Gospel there where God opens us doors for it. This is valid from the pedestrian zone in Leipzig to other continents.
